3. What is the difference between DURAPON 70™ and other PVDF’s available in the market?
DURAPON 70™ is a full PVDF (polyvinylidine fluoride). It is combined with Dura Coat’s proprietary acrylic resin. The DURAPON 70™ resin is chemically the same as the more widely known PVDF resins in the market.

5. What is CERANAMEL™?
The CERANAMEL™ family of coatings include XT40, XT40S and XT30. CERANAMEL™ is a hybrid custom coating that has been engineered to be harder and more flexible than comparable competitive coatings in the industry. XT 40 and XT40S were developed to service the roofing, sidewall and trim markets. XT30 was developed to serve the HVAC and appliance industries.

8. Are Dura Coat Products topcoats recoatable?
As a general rule of thumb Dura Coat Products, Inc. top coats are re-coatable. It is recommended that in the event a re-coat is necessary, a representable coated substrate would be requested in order to check for adhesion properties and color.

9. How does Dura Coat measure performance of its coatings?
Dura Coat Products, Inc. tests all warranted topcoats by two methods. First, by accelerated testing by performing QUV, salt spray and humidity. Second, by actual South Florida and Arizona EMMACQUA.

10. What is Dura Coat doing to contribute to a greener environment?
Dura Coat Products, Inc. is very sensitive to contributing to the reduction of the carbon foot print. Dura Coat uses cool pigments in all XT40, XT40S and DURAPON 70™ formulations. In addition, all formulas are engineered to gain maximum practical volume solids to achieve even green technologies. Dura Coat Products, Inc. is doing its share by eliminating harmful raw materials from our formulas such as lead chromate pigments. We also manufacture our premium coatings by using cool pigments which help reduce energy consumption.
